Sen. Chuck McIlhinney (R-10) and Rep. Kathy Watson (R-144) will host a Senior Expo on Friday at the Delaware Valley College campus in Doylestown from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Exhibitors from local, state and federal agencies will be available to provide information on programs available to benefit area seniors. Door prizes and free health screenings will also be offered.
Rite Aid will also offer free flu shots for seniors during the event. Seniors will need to present a Medicare card or some other type of supplemental insurance card in order to receive the free flu shot.
Parking will not be available on campus due to classes scheduled on the day of the event. Visitors can park at the Town Shopping Center located on Butler Avenue in New Britain, and shuttle buses will take visitors back and forth from 9:15 a.m. until 1 p.m.
